Off topic, I know, but…why no coverage of the Chicago Open? Some big names played, like Sargissian, Van Wely, etc.

Because it’s not a USCF event.
That’s an odd answer. The blog is titled, “Susan Polgar Chess Daily News and Information.” Of course she’s entitled to post whatever she likes and on any subject, but man!! Van Wely, Petrosian, Sargissian and many more were here in the USA.
