…As in Detroit, the response of Windsor’s political and business leadership is to fight back.

The city is making streetscape improvements downtown and revving up its business recruitment and retention programs.

The city and the business association also have sponsored a new farmer’s market downtown, created a new Chess Park to attract chess players, installed security cameras, and created a Clean Team and a Downtown Host programs to make Windsor’s downtown streets cleaner and friendlier.
