Chess Federation Tourneys
ST. CROIX – The USVI Chess Federation will also host the USVI National Open Scholastic Chess Tournament on Feb. 19 and 20 at Manor School. All USVI students under the age of 18 are welcome to participate. For details, e-mail to: usvichess@hotmail.com.
The USVI Chess Federation is a member of the V.I. Olympic Committee and FIDE – the World Chess Federation. These tournaments are being run by members of the 2010 USVI Chess Federation World Chess Olympiad Team, who recently returned from the 2010 World Chess Olympiad in Siberia.
