OPEN PROPOSAL FOR EUROPEAN INDIVIDUAL WOMEN CHESS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2011
Dear Mr.President,
Silvo Danailov,
As you know due to insult and humiliation of your General Secretary, we have protested and finally, because we did not get any answer from your side for a long time we withdrew from European Championship, to be organised in Gaziantep.
It is very pity to read your comments on this issue claiming that we do not have money to organise it. It is not true. We give this to your experience being as President, and we want to show our hand again, like just after election, to organise this event. We hope that you closed the file of elections in your mind, and as chess person will make the correct move now.
We may organise it with the same conditions agreed and finalised in attached regulations. Also we do not want to communicate with your General Secretary on this issue, while she is behaving improperly to our federation, and to me. It would be your proper move to apology on this.
If you want to run ECU in the best level, and to find the best organisers for each specific event, kindly answer us in the right time, and let us organise the best European Women Championship in Gaziantep, in March 2011. If you agree on this proposal we wait your answer till Monday 24, January 2011, at 1 pm, with Turkish time.
If you think that the time Schedule is not enough to organise event in March, we are ready to organise it from 31st July till 19 August, in Gaziantep. It will be very hot you should notice that.
We do not think that we should make a new bid, considering that the event was granted by General Assembly to Turkish Chess Federation.
We hope you care the level of organisation and succeeding in your term, the best for the sake of chess.
Chess regards,
Ali Nihat YAZICI
President
Hmm, perhaps the authors of this letter should either hire professional translators or use another possible language besides English. It seems like miscommunication has been a problem in the past and letters like this are not going to help move beyond that.
