3. Ne6 double checkmate!!
1.Bd3 allows black to fight back with: 1… Nh2+, or even
1….Rxc2. Where’s the mate?
I immediately liked Ne6, this must be final move though.
And I liked Bd3+, having to be 2nd move.
All enforced is:
1. Qxf5+ Kxf5
2. Bd3+ Kg5

1.Ne6+ Kg6
2.QxB+ KxQ
3.Bd3 mate
Ne6 (double check and forking the Queen) appears strong.

BTW Susan, do you remember the TCEC tournament for chess engines? I’ve discovered there is a new big tournament going on called SCCT FINAL 2011 with a live relay. Stockfish is leading at present with 3/3!
Here’s the link: http://www.sedatcanbaz.com/chess/scct-final/

Ne5 double discovered check and mate

2.Bd3#
A very nice mate in three. Once you see that Ne6++ would be mate if square f5 wasn’t occupied, it’s easy to spot:
1. Qxf5+ Kxf5
2. Bd3+ Kg5 We have the same position as from the beginning, only with the white bishop substituting the white queen and square f5 empty. So
3. Ne6 Double check and mate
Easy, all forced. 1.Qxf5+ Kxf5 2.Bd3+ Kg5 3.Ne6+ Nf4 4.Bxf4+ Kh5 5.Ng7#

A lovely problem !

Yo jugaria asi la partida:
1)- F4 X H5 ¡JAQUE!…..
7) F5 E6 ¡Jaque!
8) E8 F8
9) E3 x H6 ¡Jaque mate!
