It’s called mirroring and it’s a quite well known trick, even by the GMs that agreed to play this game. I wonder why they did it… ($$$)
I guess that’s one reason that in simultaneous games you have to play with the same color.

I would be very surprised
if the GMs who participate
do not know about the trick
throughout the game.
This is the same reason why
if there is no time constraint
in bughouse, one can assure
a draw.
I can’t believe that there are still people who don’t know about this trick, and I am disappointed that a famous magician would use something as trite as this.
