I was recently asked which books or DVDs do I use as a basic guide to teach chess in the schools.
In addition to the chess curriculum I created which can be downloaded for FREE here “Chess Training Guide for Teachers and Parents“, I also use “A World Champion’s Guide to Chess” (which is good for all ages), and “Learn Chess in 30 Minutes, Chess for Absolute Beginners” DVD (which is awesome for young players).
The next level book would be “Chess Tactics for Champions“.
