Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Notice that there is now nearly a 40 point gap from Topalov to world number 3 on the virtual list- so it is not quite so dense at the very top anymore.
Thought the livelist was no longer being maintained
However one should note that FIDE’s January rating list won’t look like this, be cause nanjing won’t be rated (deadline was 15th December)
Top 5 should look like this:
1. Topalov – 2796
2. Anand – 2791
3. Ivanchuk ! – 2779
4. Carlsen – probably 2776
5. Morozevich – 2770
Carlsen played two leagues games on 13th and 14th od December. If they were submited on time to be rated for January list, his rating will drop to 2770 and he will be behind morozevich.
So live rating list is NOT how the January list will look like.
Morozevich is of course on 2772 not 2770
In German Bundesliga Carlsen lost game with my countryman Bartosz Soćko.

Good job, Bartosz.
