The elo rating has definately inflated ovet the years.
Elo rating January 1976:1. Karpov – 26952. Korchnoi – 26703. Petrosian – 2635
No one is in top 50 if compare to today’s ratings.
Why is that, nobody will sponsor? This top 50 players to be in one tournament?Is it not interesting?JULIO
Calling for all sponsors ( millionaires, billionaires and companies ). Why not join and make it happen. Chess top 50 players in the world will be in one big tournament. This will be, THE TOURNAMENT OF THE CENTURY.Everybody will love it!!!
Karpov and Kasparov will be included,if they are interested. 52 great chess players at present. Will be, in the tournament of the century. GREAT!!!
