These two young ladies just finished in a 4-way tie for first at the 2006 World Girl’s Under 20 Championship. Shen Yang won on tie-breaks while Yifan Hou finished in second.

Just a few months earlier, these two young ladies represented China at the Turin Olympiad to win the Bronze medal. Yifan Hou also captured the individual Silver medal as well as finished with the third best overall performance.
I expect these two young ladies to shine for many years to come.
