Organizer, please stop this terrible format next year. Why humiliate these old guys?
How did Korchnoi lose?

How did Korchnoi lose?”
In a smoldering heap, laying on his back, Ja?
K lost on time
Yes, they should make the teams that are about equal strength next time.
Cheparinov and Wang should not be there because the are simply too good.
While L’Ami and Stelwagen are about the same age as Wang and Cheparinov, their strength is in about the same range as “the oldies”. But maybe they are already too old for this tournament.
Caruana is in my opinion the only one who fits in the category “rising stars”. Also players like Wesley So and Ian Nepomniachtchi would fit perfectly in there they are young and they are about 2600 as the experience team is. This would make the competition much more close and interesting.
