Information on the World Record as it stands: Current Holder: International Chess Master Andrew Martin Number of simultaneous games played: 321 Location & Date of current record: Crowthorne, England, February 21, 2004 Total distance walked and time taken: Over 5 miles and 16 hours 48 minutes Wow!
Hope you break it!
The 50 boards you played in five hours in Hawaii in May 2004, with a 47 – 3 record was cool too! Paco
It was interesting to watch, although very few games looked competitive.
Probably unavoidable, but some players were using cell phones to discuss their games, some games were analyzed by groups of people, even saw one chess computer.
In effect, Susan was playing against “groups” of people on some boards making her task even more difficult.
Susan good luck!!!
All my best
Steven
Good luck Susan, you can do it ; ) !!!!!
Go for it. Great publicity for chess and really fun to follow!
Aloha Susan,
