Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
In this tournament and all others, all I ever see Hou Yifan doing is winning, and all I ever see Humpy Koneru doing is drawing. How is it that Humpy’s rating is higher than Hou Yifan’s?
All hail the chess queen!
All chess prodigies, both male and female progress rapidly while they are totally focused on chess.
But once they are distracted by a boyfriend or girlfriend progress slows down.
A BF or GF cost 50 ELO. Getting married and having a kid cost 100 ELO. Well worth it, but a fact.
I wonder if the Chinese government will let her date?
“Anonymous” can bow to his “queen” all he likes and hope she notices him, but leave me and other respectable people out of it.
Also I object to the usage of the term “chess queen” in general, I think it’s a silly term. Yeah I know Kosteniuk calls herself that as well, I also think that was a bit ridiculous.
