No bidder is in the conflict with the regulations of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

The bid, including all original documents and particulars, shall arrive by registered post to the FIDE Secretariat in Athens, Greece by the deadline of 15 May 2008.

Why was Kamsky allowed so many delay? I thought they had strict deadlines?

Are you serious? FIDE and strict deadlines?
Well, I think eventually the delays will work out in benefit of the players. They are going from a 400K price to a 900K one.
This is the bid, which is good. But did they send the bank confirmation for the amount? I think not becase the letter mentions that it will arrive within two business days so let’s wait until then 🙂
