Qh6 Kh6
Rh4 Kg7
Bh6 mate
Quick mate with 1.Nf5.
1. Qh6+ Kxh6 2. Rh4+ Kg7 3.Bh6#
1. Qh6+, Kxh6
2. Rh4++, Kg7
3. Bh6#
Aside from the three-move mate with 1.Qh6+ Kxh6 2.Rh4+ Kg7 3.Bh6#, there is also a two-mover with 1.Nf5+ gxf5 2.Qg5#. Phil
No room for me to make any comment. Still anonymous at 9:34:00 PM is more accurate in recording the moves than anonymous at 8:39:00 PM.
1.Nf5+ PxN
2.Qg5#
1. Nf5+ gf 2. Qg5#
Although 1. Qh6+ Kxh6 2. Rh4+ Kg7 3. Bh6# is nice, faster is 1. Nf5+ gxf5 2. Qg5#.
There is a mate in 2 which is equally elegant.
1. Nf5+, gxf5 (forced)
2. Qg5#

Why not? It’s even a mate in 2.
1. Nf5+! gxf5 2. Qg5#
There is a second solution:
1. Nf5+ gxf5 2. Qg5#
Nf5+ gxf5, Qg5 mate
Knf5+, gxf5
Qg5++
Nf5+
1. Qh6+ Kxh6 2. Rh4+ Kg7 3.Bh6#
Too slow. Instead of this:
1. Nf5+ gxf5 2. Qg5#
1.Kf5+ g*f5
2.Qg5#
1. Nf5+ gxf5 2. Qg5#
Nf5+ gxf5, Qg5# is quicker.
my first inclination is NF5 check. Seems to work.
1. Nf5+ gxf5
2. Qg5#
Nf5+ g6xNf5
Qg5# mate
