my suggestion is
1.g6+ fxg6 (1…kxg6 2.bf5+ kf6/kh5 3.qd6#/g4#)
2.qd8 qb3 (to prevent be6)
( 2…g5 3.bf5+ kh6 4.qxg5#;
2…b4 3.qh4+ kg8 4.be6+ kf8 5.qd8+ be8 6.qd6#)
3.qh4+ kg8
4.qe7 kh7
5.be6 +- with mate or loss of queen next move
hi vohaul, what´s with 2…qa8 ?
You should attend this move too.
2.- Qa8 3. Qh4+ Kg8 4. Be6+ Kf8 5. Bg5 Yeah, think so
I see
Qd6 Be8
Qd8 Bc6
g6+
(if Kxg6 then Qg5 and i think this wins soon)
..fxg6
Qh4+ Kg8
Be6+ Kf8
Qd8#.
Either I’m seeing really sharp today or this is way off. Probably way off since I miss counterplay too often.
Is this right? It’s so different from the solutions so far it gives me no confidence. What am I not seeing?
1. Bf5+ Kg8 (or Kh8)
2. Qd8+ Be8
3. Qe8#
…after looking again, I see that I did not see the 1. Bf5+ g6 response. I knew there was a catch.
Sorry…
@classplayer
what do you think about
1.qd6 qd1!
2.qxc6 qxd2
3.qxc5 (what else?)… nd3
4.qe7 (forced) nf5+
and black is really GOOD!
