  1.Ng3 hg 2.Kg3 prevents mate and black’s c pawn is hanging. I still would rather be playing black in this position.

  I think I may have been able to solve this position correctly, if I hadn’t set up my board with a pawn on h6. Now I can’t even set up positions correctly, let alone analyse them.
