1.Re7+ Kf6 2.Qg7+ Kf5 3.Re5+ Ne5
(3.-Kg4 4.Nf4) 4.Qe5+ KXg6
5. Re1+ Qg4 6.Rg4+ Kf7 7.Rg7+ Kf8
8.Qe7++

I found a different line than the anonymous poster who used 3.Re5+. I think the mate can proceed like this, but it’d be great if someone would confirm it:
1. 1.Re7+ Kf6 2.Qxg7+ Kf5 3.Rf7+ Nf6 4.Rxf6+ Kg4 5.Rg1+ Kh3 6.Rxf3+ Nxf3 7.Nf4+ Kxh48.Qh6# or Qh7# or 6..Kh2 7.Nf4 Nxf3 8.Qg2# or 6..Kh2 7.Nf4 Rg8, 8.Rh3#
Take very good care all & have a great day. Cheers!
Hi Susan
1. Re7, Kf6 [if 1. …, Kxg6 2. Qxg7, Kf5 (2. …, Kh5 3. Qg5# Mate)3. Qg5# Mate]
2. Qxg7, Kf5
3. Rf7, Nf6 here if A:[ if 3. …, Ke6 4. Nf8, Nxf8 (4. …, Rxf8 5. Re7, Kf5 6. Qg4# Mate)5. Re7, Kf5 6. Qg4# Mate]and B:[3. …, Kg4 4. Ne5, Kh3 5. Rxf3, Nxf3(5. …, Kxh4 6. Qg4# Mate; 5. …, Kh2 6. Qg3# Mate)6. Qg4, Kh2 7. Nxf3# Mate]
4. Qxf6 [ it also drives to Mate in 8 moves 4. Rxf6, Kg4 5. Ne5, Kh3(if 5. …, Kxh4 6. Rh6, Qh5 7. Qg5# Mate; 5. …, Kh5 6. Rh6# Mate)6. Rxf3, Nxf3 7. Qg4, Kh2 8. Nxf3# Mate], Kg4
5. Qg5, Kh3
6. Rxf3, Nxf3 (6. …, Kh2 7. Qg3# Mate)
7. Nf4, Kh2
8. Qg2# Mate
Good day
The line with 3.Re5 + is incorrect since black can
delay mate with 4.-Kg4. Thus, 3.Rf7 seems to be the move.
