If 2…Qxe3 then 3.Rc7+ Kf6 4.Qg5+ Ke6 5.Qe7#
If 2….Qa5 then Bxd4+ with great effect (for example Rf6 Qg5+ +- or Kg8 Qg5+ Kf7 Qf6+ Ke8 Qe6#)

A relatively easy problem! But I did spend 2 minutes on that move. The difficulty is not anyone could play 1…Rg7 at this position but foresee the attack quite a few moves ago!
1.Rc1 followed by 2.Rxg7 etc. should have the same effect – or do i miss something?
It might even be stronger, for there is no answer 1.- Qa5.
If 1.Rc1 is played first, then I believe black can create some mating threats of his own by playing 1…Qb2.

yup… it was played in Baku in 1961 the opponent was Gipslis Aivars … the game looked like this:
