Heh, chessdoctor beat me. I’ve learned from these problems that “is White lost?” means “White to mate” 😉

I saw the solution to this one almost instantly. The really weird part is that I was just reading your book listed two posted above this. Karpov’s introduction had me sold on studying tactics.
