Emil Sutovsky, president of the Association of Chess Professionals announced that the next ACP Cup will be played in Riga as a 16 players knockout rapid event.
The elite tournament will be organized with the cooperation of GM Alexei Shirov and the Latvian chess society. Sutovsky presented the tournament as follows in his facebook page:

starring Peter Svidler, Alexander Grischuk, Shakhriyar Mamedyarov, Sergey Karjakin, Alexander Morozevich, Teimour Radjabov, Ruslan Ponomariov, and… (the final list later this week, keep guessing!).
Where? Riga, Latvia.
When ? September 12 – 15
Who? Sixteen of the World’s best players
in the ACP Cup – 2013.
The prize fund of 75 thousand USD. Rapid chess, KO system, every match is a real CHESS FEAST.
