Support for events by FIDE

FIDE has again set aside 5000 Euro in 2010 to help organizers develop new, possibly radical, ventures. This might be put towards a new event or experimental tournament activity. For further details, or to make a bid for part of this money, please contact Councillor to the FIDE Events Commission Stewart Reuben (stewartreuben@aol.com) and also chairman of the Events Commission Ignatius Leong (ignatiusleong@pacific.net.sg) by 20 December 2009. A decision about which event(s) will be awarded this seeding money will be made by 20 January 2010.
