Who do you pick to win this event?
Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Anand! Anand! Anand!
Honestly I think only Anand or Topa ( less so) can win this. But with except Moro everyone from top list is in, so should be a very important event.
I don’t see anyone apart from Vishy or Topalov winning this. But with these events, you never know…
Topalov I think. My second guess would be Anand.
Vishy!
A win over Kramnik would be a moral victory!
Judit! Go Judit!
Why is Kamsky not included?
Yes, I wish Kamsky would have been on this list, but I think Kramnik will surpise all again and win by a margin!
I know he is very good, and high rated, but ugh. Why must they continually invite Leko to these tournaments? While everyone is focused on Carlsen, Karjakin, and Nakamura, Radjabov will quietly take over the chess universe. He is the best of the young crowd.
Topalov ofcourse.
Hey Susan,
when you ask about our opinions, we don’t mind hearing yours also. You are more qualified than most of us.
Topalov methinks.
I think Carlsen has a good shot.
All I know is this :
If Kramnik wins, his fans will immediately start talking about how great he is. If he loses, they will immediately start talking about how matches are better than tournaments
Kramnik will win as he is the best.
Leave Kramnik fans to drink alcohol-free beer and read ‘improving books’. Proper chess will be played by Topa and Anand, the way it should be played
It is anyone’s tourney…. Hope we will see some high quality games and no short draws.
you say anand like if he was a coca cola bottle of wine !!! and pyada is blind … phil is a good dog … martin likes outsiders … vishnu says vishy, or was it evian ??? anonynimous is always very sneaky or very nice, go judith !!! mister parker smokes a cigar while thinking ” what in the hell ??? “”” mayanking is a floower, nothing else … so anonymous who has its word to say, says kramnik, topalov, anand, carlsen, god, the devil, and what do you think mamma judith ??? and xargon is the wize man, showing is beautiful peacefull picture in front of the whole world, contemplating, full of admiration for this peace maker …
so, i’d say RADJABOV …
my name is PERSONNE
That’s nice.
Go Vishy!
I’m burning to see how Topalov does, playing a top tournament again.
Finally it’s gonna be one of the big three,T., A. or K, my order beeing
Anand, Kramnik, Topalov.
Anand!!
Topalov for sure.
He’s been hungry sitting on the sidelines watching the Mexico shenanigans.
He will leapfrog the pretenders and recapture his No 1 spot.
Radjabov will also try to make a statement.
I would go for Anand, then Topalov. Also, i wd like to see Kramnik’s catalan get crumbled like a bag of chips.
Topalov won’t win simply because he won’t cheat this time. He needs to let all the rumours die down. Then against Kamsky he might resort to some Danailov tricks in order to win. But then he better watch out for Kamsky senior!.
Kramnik will win the tournament, i suppose.
Probably one of the big three (Anand, Kramnik, Topa,) but maybe Carlsen will surprise. And where is Karjakin?
Kramnik, Radjabov and Carlsen are my 3 favorite winners! 🙂
Anand, Gelfand and Radjabov will take the 3 top spots.
Moe, Larry, and Curly are destined to win!
I am sure Levon Aronian is going to surprise …
Millions of fans are waiting for your great victory.
GO LEVON GO.
I would pick Vishy Anand as my most favourite player as a winner. But i think almost everyone in the A group is able the win the tournament (maybe except Eljanov and Wan Wely)because all of them have already shown they are capable of it.Definitely Im looking forward to this event.Certainly it will produce some extraordinary stuff.
