nothin special here, it has to be Rf7+ followed by perpetual checks.
DRAW
Well, white can definitely draw by just endlessly checking the king who can’t hide anywhere but at h1. Trying to hide at h3 or h4 won’t work either as the rook can just play to g5 and check from h5 if black queens his pawn. Any attempt to walk the rook down will drop the pawn when white plays to the first rank followed by Rh1.
So, the question is- is a draw all white can get? Given that black is going to queen with check, I don’t see anything for white but the check from f7 followed by checks from g7 or e7. As long as black keeps the rook from reaching the 1st rank, he can force white to take the draw.
Normally, I would be very suspicious of this result since it seems so easy, but if white can actually win this, I would be completely stunned.
Certainly there is a draw with a sequence such as checking the Black King so that it must hide on h3, then playing Rh7 so that when Black Queens, moving the White King to the g-file uncovers the x-ray attack on the Queen. However, I don’t see a win at this point. Phil
1.Rf7+, Kg2.
2.R7g+, Kh3.
3.Kg6, Kg2
4.Kh7+ =
This is a drawn game.
The white rook has to keep checking on e,f or g files and the black King will move around second or third ranks. If the black king moves over to h3 in an attempt to promote the pawn, white rook will switch over to h7 leading towards a trivial draw.
This is a draw after
1 Rg7+ Kh3
Black has to go to the h file to escape the checks. Black can’t move towards the Rook, because the latter will reach the first rank with a draw or win. After 1… Kh8, White can simply stalemate Black with such as 2 Rg8.
3 Rg5
Other moves also work.
3… h8=Q
4 Rh7+
It’s a Remis.
But Black has more opportunities to make misstakes. Therefore i prefear the white pieces.
Draw. White does not allow black o queen.
draw
I think white can draw by perpetual.
1. Rf7+ Kg2
2. Rg7+ Kh3 (so as not to block pawn)
3. Rg5 and if h1/Q
4. Rh5+ and white wins,
so black has to continue exposing his king to check until they’ve repeated the position three times.

i think, white will loose, can not force draw?
White should win. I suppose. 🙂
Draw !
1. Rf7+, Kg3
2. Rg7+, Kh4
3. Rg5, h1Q
4. Rh5+ and
5. Rxh1

White can draw by giving checks and once the black king gets to the h-file white plays Kg5! This clears the h-file so white can check on h7 as soon as black promotes capturing the queen.
1.Rf7+ Kg2
If the King goes on the West, then it’s a draw by perpetual check since Black can’t leave the 2nd rank otherwise it would allow the White Rook to come on the first rank and in the worst case sacrifice itself.
2.Rg7+ Kh3 otherwise 2…Kf1 3.Rf7+ =
3.Rg5 and =
