Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
IM Betaz… resigned right away??
I hope to see the young guns (So, Gupta, and Giri) in Group B or A next year.
i do not want to see the old guns mecking, romanishin anywhere anymore.
They should have a Group D for seniors and semi-retired players. Although Kortchnoi and Karpov still play well, most of the old guys play like IMs these days.
I hear Campo gave a speech remarking about the game: He said it right here.
That wasn’t a speech at all. That was normal Campo-talk.
way to go pinay, although we know you are really a pinoy of the feminine persuasion.
you are exactly portraying the low conniving class of campo mentality, which is known throughout the universe.
remember you said so, chiquita.
muchas gracias amiga/amigo.

And they should have a Group F for u and me in this group.
Well, the young guns won’t be this good without those old players. As science does not look down on Galileo for Newton, or Newton for Einstein, or Einstein for Hawking… we should not look down on the good ole seniors. Sure they may be a bit “rusty” here and there, but they still make sense, especially for amateurs like me. Chess is for the humble-hearted.
