Qd3!
After Qa7…. only a pawn check g4+ easily answered with Kh4 or Kh2. And now it’s impossible to defend both the problems on the 8th rank… Re8 might be an idea, but Rg7+, Rh7+, and Qg7++ are too much for black to deal with.

Qd3
Qa7 perhaps
Rc7 suggests itself
I think, Qa7! and White wins easy.

If
1. Qa7 Re3+ answers the immediate threat at the very least (white’s own rook is being protected by the queen. This may still win for white since the the two queenside pawns appear to fall with this line, but it is not a mating net.
I’m thinking that to prevent the Re3+ reply. White can play 1. Kh2.
Following this, black’s rook is pinned (mate with Qg7), black’s queen must stay put to protect the rook, and blacks king can only either march to its death on f8 or pin it’s rook.
Pushing the pawns doesn’t seem to amount to anything either.
1. Kh2 …
1. … Qa5
2. Qc4+ Kh8
3. Qh7
1. … g4 or h4
2. Qa7
So Susan, what’s the answer? Because both Qa7 and Qd3 lead to simplification (although I still believe Qa7 is better since Q can go for pawns immediately).
Or probably Kh2 to avoid exchanging, and white is better but… there’s a lot to play after that…

I think Bruno is on the right track on this one- Black has too many replies that hinge on the King at h3. I have tried multiple ways to get at Black’s king over the last day, and the king at h3 is always a weakness, but at h2, the king avoids attack for at least two moves until black clears the rook form e5. So:
1. Kh2 any move
2. Qd3 or a7 (depends on whether black covers either square. Then, there is not an adequate defense to the mating threat.
