Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
It always puzzles me to see how these seemingly quiet e3-approaches develop into such kind of positions. Amazing.
That must be some serious personal restriction. Even a caveman won’t be puzzled by the meanings of traffic lights more than once or twice.
Is the game still ongoing?
Shirov lost to Kramnik again – as I predicted. No surprise there. Pathetic sac.
Pathetic anonymous confirmation of an anonymous prediction.
Yeah, such remarks are just plain ridiculous. Had Shirov succeeded everybody would have praised him for his ingenuity and boldness, he just missed something in his calculations. Maybe he got inspired by Topalov’s Nxf7 against Kramnik, which in later top level encounters failed to succeed.
