Here goes Alex Shabalov again! He is capable of doing anything when he is on his game. He once again jumps to a fast start with a 4-0 score after defeating Nakamura in round 4 today. Irina Zenyuk scores the biggest upset so far by downing IM Josh Friedel. FM Movsisyan scored his first win. That means that no one will have a goose egg.

Josh Fridel did so well last year. He got a norm.
Then he moved across the country from new hampshire to west coast to study chess.
He is a great player but we would welcome him back with a big smile to New Hampshire if he decides to come back.
Susan can you post the points each player has.
Shaba is on a roll. 4 down and only 5 to go. I hope he does not start taking draws.
I was watching the game earlier, until move 21 and felt Nakumara mishandled the opening and was going down. Shabalov is in great form and may win the championship again like in 1993.
