Great to see Larry C doing so well!
So lets see if I understand this correctly. My understanding is that the 4 people with 5.0 points will now play each other. That will require 3 games. The leaders after the 3 games go into tiebreaks.
Also everyone else keeps playing 3 more games of swiss tournament except the 4 top guys are sort of missing from that other group.
I like seeing the tournament leaders go head to head to determine the champion – much more exciting than in previous years.
In previous years, by the last rounds the leaders had usually already played each other and were paired against the also-rans – much less exciting.
