The 24th Roquetas de Mar Chess Festival is set to take place from 2nd to 6th January, 2013, at the Bahia Serena Hotel in Roquetas de Mar (Almería), Spain.
The Festival consists of the General Tournament (9-round Swiss) and the U2150 Tournament (7-round Swiss). The players can not carry electronic communication devices and accessories, except in the terms set by the referee.
All participants have to pay the entry fee of 30 € in advance. Fee will be refunded to players who complete the tournament and hold a FIDE rating above 2250.

Top prizes are 1000 € / 750 € / 650 € / 550 € / 450 € / 400 € etc
