Bd2
I see Rd2 almost instantly- white can’t take the rook with either the bishop or the knight since both allow Qg2#. White must take with the queen to prevent mate:
1. ……Rd2
2. Qd2 Bd2
And white still can’t take at d2 with the bishop or the knight- just to prevent mate, white must take the now protected knight with the rook:
3. Re1 Be1 and black has won a queen for a knight.
Knxf3?

1. … Rd2! (wins Q, otherwise white will be checkmated after 2. … Qg2#) 0-1
Rd2..Qxd2
Bb4xd2…Rxe1
Bxe3…Nxe3
White mate in 2 or losses quen..
1. Rd2, Qxd2
2. Bxd2, Rxe1 to prevent mate
3. Bxe1 a very easy win for black
Edgar
…Rd2 to set the stage
for Nxf3 to be followed
by Qxh2#
Infringement: Rd2! Threatening mate at g2.. to which White has to capture Rook with the queen. Capturing with any other piece leads to mate at g2
Infringement: Rd2! Threatening mate at g2.. to which White has to capture Rook with the queen. Capturing with any other piece leads to mate at g2
This is super quick.
1.Rd2 barring white Q from g2 wins Q at least.
1………Rd2! Wins the Q for a B or mates!
2.Qxd2.Bxd2.3.Rxe1.(else mate).Bxe1. And wins easily!
2.other move.Qg2#!
1. Rd2! Qxd2
Enforced. If either Bxd2?? or Nxd2?? or other moves then Qg2#.
2. Nxf3+ Kh1
Enforced. An instant loss was 2. Kf2? 3. Nxd2 Bxd2 4. Bxd2 Nxd2 5. Qxh2+ Ke3 (Kf3 Qxd2 or Ke1 Qh1+) 6. Qxg3.
3. Bxd2 Bxd2 (Nxd2?? Qxh2#)
4. Nxd2 Nxd2
5. h5
Black should win with Q against R+N.

Black’s idea is to threaten mate with Qg2.
1. …. Rd2
The White Queen’s oversight on g2 square is blocked.
2. If Bxd2 or Nxd2, Qg2+ mate.
2. If Qxq2, Bxd2 3. Bxd2, Qg2+ mate
If instead of 3 Bxd2, White plays Rxe1, then 3 …. Bxe1.
Black gets back his Rook, and is Queen up for a Knight, which is winning.
1…..Rd2,2.Qxd2,Nf3+. wins queen
1…..Rd2,2.Bxd2,Qg2+.mate
To complete the transactions,
1…..Rd2 2.Qxd2 Bxd2 3.Rxe1 (a must else 3… Qg2#)Bxe1 and black got Q just for a N.
Oops!
I correctly found:
1. Rd2! Qxd2
But then I stumbled on move #2. The goodlooking fork 2. Nxf3+ was wrong. Of course 2. Bxd2 still threatening mate was better. And black has to answer with Rxe1.
