poor Rf8: no one appreciates everything he does till he’s gone!
1. Nxd7 and then white will have an attack on the a-file.
1. Nxd7 Bxc3
(if 1. … Qxd7 2. Rxa8 wins a piece)
2. Nxf8 Rxa2
(if 2. … Bxe1 3. Rxa8 with deadly discovery threat)
3. Qxc3 Qf7
(or 3. … b4 4. Qf6, but not 3. … Kf8 4. Qh8+ Kf7 5. Qxh7+ winning the queen)
4. Ne6 looks like it wins.
1.Nxd7 Qxd7 2.Bxf6 Rxf6 3.Rxa8, losing a piece. Black will also lose a piece after 1.Nxd7 Bxc3 2.Nxf8 Bxe1 3.Rxa8. This took 2.5 minutes to solve, so there’s no way I would spot this at G/15 or G/30.
After 1. Nxd7 Qxd7 White has to play 2. Rxa8 (if 2. … Rxa8 3. Bxf6 or if 2. … Bxc3 3. Rxf8+). If 2. Bxf6?? Black has a zwichenzug (sp?) 2. … Rxa2

??? Why? I see the threat of 4. Nf6+, but can’t Black just play 3. … Qd8? then the best I see for White is 4. Re6 Qxd7 5. Qxc3 but Black looks better, e.g., 5. … bxc4 or 5. … b4.
