If 1. Qxf5, e3+ and the white K is very exposed.
1. gxf7+ Qxf7
2. Bh5 Bxh3
3. Bxf7+ Kf8
4. Bxg8 Kxg8
White is safer and White is up the R for B exchange.
Mark
1. gxf7+ Qxf7
2. Bh5! Bxh3
3. Bxf7+ Kf8
4. Bxg8
looks nice.
Hope it isn’t too absurd.
i suggest playing something like
1. gxf7+ Qxf7
2. Bh5 Bxh3
3. Bxf7+ Kf8
4. Bxg8 Kxg8
5. Rxh3
and white is a rook up.
greets, jan
1.gxf7+ Qxf7
(1…Kf8 2.fxg8=Q+ Qxg8 3.Qxf5+ Ke8 4.Bh5+)
2.Bh5 Bd4+
(2…Bxh3+ 3.Bxf7+ Kf8 4.Bxg8 Kxg8 5.Rxh3)
3.Be3 Bxh3+
4.Bxf7+ Kf8
5.Bxg8 Kxg8
6.Rxh3 Bf6
7.Bc1 Kf7
8.Rh5 Ke6
9.Ke3 d5
10.Rh6 Kf5
11.Rh5+ Ke6
12.Kf4 Bg7
A really hard nut!
But for the lack of alternatives, I had to try:
1. gxf7+ Qxf7 (only move)
And now the trick must be to not take this queen! This was the hard thing to see!
2. Bh5!
Black queen not taken, but imprisoned, and now white threats both Qxf5 and Bxf7+.
2. … Bxh3 (Bd4+ Ke1 Bc3+ Kd1 Bg4+ Qxb4 didn’t help either)
3. Bxf7+ Kf8
4. Bxg8 Kxg8
5. Rxh3
is up with a full rook.

To mshroder:
If 1. Qxf5 then Bd4+ and the white Q is lost.
Your solution is correct, but if you prolong it by one move, you see that
5. Rxh3
is up with a full rook:-)
