Oops, Krapnik did it again!
Vishy wins!
Susan is being a bit provocative here …
I’m starting to understand what people mean when they complain that there are too many draws… (In which other sport would this happen?)
Both Radjabov, Topalov and Kramnik…
Kramnik is getting better .. now draws are in less moves!!!
Kramnik is no.1 in energy conservation!!!
He knows oil is expensive and will run out soon!!
Ten reasons not to invite Kramnik to dinner:
1. The other guests will not be able to use the restroom.
2. The guy will re-wire your restroom (thus voiding the KB Homes’ warranty on the dry wall)
3. He’ll refuse to leave the restroom and join the table until he’s assured that HE AND ONLY HE will use this restroom for the remaining of the evening.
4. He will never trust you with the meal and will bring his own cook.
5. Even worse – he’ll bring Fritz his wife and the young Fritz Junior with him.
6. In the rare moments on the table he’ll complain he’s on the wrong side of the table and the bottom left hand corner should be black, not white.
7. Before you’re able to explain that the table is actually round he’ll interrupt and confirm that he doesn’t do round robins but only Swiss cheese and he chooses what kind, with whom and when – then he’ll go to the toilet.
8. Shortly before desert you’ll get a pizza delivery courtesy of Chessbase – special pawn shaped toppings for the champ
9. The delivery guy will refuse to leave until he gets his autograph from Kramnik
10. Kramnik will demand a small fee to be slid under the door along with the paper he has to autograph thus embarrassing you even further and making you wish you’d invited Sylvio instead.
“Players taking a second consecutive day off”
Nope. They agreed to a draw in a drawn position. Fortunately, this is still allowed.
I see Kramnik (still) has some really big anti-fans here…
I guess he doesn’t really care much about that – being world champion is probably a good consolation…
acirce, fortunatelly it is NOT allowed in M-tel Masters and will NOT be allowed in any major tourney pretty soon.
>>Oops, Krapnik did it again!
Topalov lost the match. Get over it.

Ten reasons not to invite Kramnik to dinner:>>
Isn’t it kind of hypocritical to bash one guy you don’t like for basically nothing, while giving a free pass to a guy who was denounced by the ACP as a disgrace to the game? It’s not the bad sportsmanship that offends me so much as the sheer lame-brainedness of it. Is there something liberating about looking stupid in front of strangers? I don’t want to try it myself, I was just curious.
>>Oops, Krapnik did it again!
Interesting that you don’t hate Svidler for drawing with white, but I guess hate isn’t supposed to be rational.
“fortunatelly it is NOT allowed in M-tel Masters and will NOT be allowed in any major tourney pretty soon.”
Sofia rules allow draws in theoretically drawn positions. Those in these games are at least close – Carlsen-Radjabov would fizzle out very soon.
There was also another day off
Aronian-Topalov
But there is a full article dedicated to it ;o)
If it impossible to beat Krammik when he plays the petroff (Always 1/2 – 1/2) ? Why do people even play 1. e4 against him then?
“I guess he doesn’t really care much about that – being world champion is probably a good consolation… “
You are right. Kramnik probably does not care a bit about a couple of losers, who does not have anything else to do but make strange jokes and accuse him of cheating without any evidence. If they had shown the photo of the UTP-5 cable that they claim to be evidence to a real judge in a real court, they would understand how the real life works. These guys are completely lost.
>> I guess he doesn’t really care much about that – being world champion is probably a good consolation…
You are right. Kramnik doesn’t care about anybody but himself.
Gosh, and people say Susan is biased, what with suggesting these were days off and Aronian-Topalov was a full-blooded battle. I can’t imagine how these people have the cheek.
