The Pays de Charleroi International Tournament was held from 27th July to 3rd August at the Complexe Sportif de Roux, 6044 Roux, Belgium.
The event was organized by Cercle Royal des Echecs de Charleroi. 187 players participated in the 9-round Swiss open.
Grandmasters Igor Rausis and Aloyzas Kveinys and reigning Belgian Champion IM Tanguy Ringoir shared the first place with 7,5 points each. Rausis took the winner’s trophy on best tie-break score.
