The lowest rating group as usual was a clash of generations and also as usual it has brought the domination of the youth. 11 years old Virag Balint (HUN) gave lessons to all adult opponents. His only loss came in the last round but against another talented young opponent Koltai Dora (HUN) who achieved her greatest rating gains ever (107 points). They both are members of MTK Chess Club of Budapest. Their enthusiastic coach IM Janos Szabolcsi is not only an successful international chess trainer but an experienced teacher of French language in civilian life. Esmaili Gavgani Saeid (IRI) qualified to get his first FIDE rating (1702) calculated by the newest FIDE rules (+ 2×40 added to the average of opponents (1622) where 2 is the number of points over 50%).
