Orissa’s Padmini Rout bags first IM norm

Odisha’s WGM Padmini Rout beat Kulkarni Rakesh and scored seven points by the end of tenth round.
Earlier, in the seventh and eighth round Rout defeated Indian GM Laxman RR and shared points with Bangladesh GM Murshed Niaz and bagged her first IM norms.
International Master Anwesh Upadhyaya forced Russian GM Deviatkin Andrei to share points.
Similarly, Swayangsu Satyapragyan shared the points with C Pravieen Kumar in the tenth round and both scored seven points each.
Another Odisha boy, Swayams Mishra defeated Bangladesh GM Murshed Niaz. Similarly, Debasis Das edged out GM Laxman RR and both scored seven points each.
