I don’t have the time right now to do this comprehensively, but 1. …Rc2 looks overpowering- it basically threatens Rxg2 followed by a mate in a few moves. White might protect with 2.Rg1, but then Bc5 X-raying g1 through the queens doesn’t seem too bad for black to me.
Of course, black has too many shots.
This one got my eye :
1…….. Rc2!
( It took me too long to decide on one move. Black seems to have too many options )
2. Rg1
( I think this is forced.
3. Qxd4 Rxg2 and black is threatening Rhh2 as well as Rg4. )
2……. Bc5!
3. Ng4
( 3. Qxd4 Bxd4 and white loses an exchange on ‘g1’.)
3……. Rh4!
4. Qxd4
( 4. h3 Qxe3
5. Nxe3 Rxh3 )
4…….. Bxd4
5. Ne3 Re2!
and black is winning.
But I have to check these variations.
The tactic should be to take Bc1 with check before white has taken black queen.
1. Rc2! Rg1
Alternatives below.
2. Bxg2+ Rxg2
3. Rxc1+ Rxc1
4. Qxe3
and black is up with queen for rook and wins easily.
Alternative A:
1. … Qxd4?
2. Rxg2 Ng4 (otherwise 3. Rhxh#)
3. Rxg4+ Qd5
4. Bxd5+ Rf3
5. Bxf3#
Alternative B:
1. … Qg3
2. Rxg2 Qxg2
3. Bxg2 Kxg2
and white has R+B for the Q but is in a quickly mated position I guess.
Alternative C:
1. … Ng4
2. Rxg2 Qb3
3. Rxg4+ Rf3
4. Bxf3+ Qxf3
is simply up with a rook.
More alternatives after 1. Rc2 with similar outcome may exist.
Queen C4 ?
Queen C4 ?
Time to sac the queen!
1. Rc2! Rg1
1. … Qxd4
2. Rxg2 and Black can only delay mate on the h-file.
1. … Qg1
2. Bxg2+ Qxg2
3. Rxg2 Kxg2 does not look much better.
2. Bc5 Qe1
2. … Qxd4
3. Bxd4 and now Rg1 has no future, while the white bishop cannot move either. The rest is easy:
3. Qxg1+ Qxg1
4. Bxg1 Kxg1
5. Rxg2+ Kf1
6. R8xh2 Game over
Rc2 looks promising.
If QxQ then Rxg2, etc.
Rc1
Alternative A:
Rf1 then chessmates
Alternative B:
Qe3
Qf4
Rh2
1…Rc2 2.Qg3 Bxg2+ 3.Qxg2 Rxg2 4.Kxg2 Bxf6 5.exf6+ Kxf6 6.Re1 Qd5+ 7.Kg3 Qh5 8.Rh1 Qh3+ 9.Kf2 Rc8 1
