The Susan Polgar Foundation officially published the SPF Chess Curriculum in April 2006. It is officially approved by the United States Chess Federation and it is being used by a number of schools across the country and even some around the world. More than 10,000 students are being taught using this system.
I developed this method of teaching based on my solid chess training in Europe (Hungary and Russia). I made many modifications and improvements based on more than a decade of living in the United States and teaching chess to thousands of children. This is the only curriculum that combines the best of both systems.
The curriculum is available absolutely FREE for all teachers, coaches, parents, schools, chess clubs, chess organizations, etc. If you would like to get a copy of it, please send me an email at PolgarFoundation@aol.com.
The Susan Polgar Foundation also offers exclusive chess training kits and equipments to schools and chess clubs, etc. We give large discounts for volume purchase. Please contact me directly for more information and pricing. Personal purchase can be made through www.PolgarChess.com.
This is so great!
What kind of information do we need to provide to request for the curriculum?
Email or regular mailing address? Thanks!
Just email is fine. I will then email you the curriculum.
Best wishes,
Susan Polgar

I suspect that your curriculum is intended for schools in the US. I am about to begin teaching a chess course to young First Nations kids in Northern BC. I’d like to purchase boards and sets through you, because I admire your unselfish energy and dedication to the game. Unfortunately it has been my experience that goods made outside the US and subsequently sold to purchasers in Canada are subject not only to Canadian taxes (which is fair enough) but to duty, thereby increasing their cost by more than 25 and up to 40%. I wondering if there is any way to circumvent this prohibitive increase.
The address PolgarFoundation@aol.com didn’t work. Is there another way to get it?
