Odisha International GM Open Chess Tournament

The 4th Odisha International GM Open Chess Tournament is scheduled to take place from 29th May to 5th June at the Banquet Hall, Campus 6, KIIT University Campus, Bhubaneswar – 24, Odisha, India.

The tournamet is organized the All Orissa Chess Association, KIIT University Bhubaneswar and under the guidance of All India Chess Federation. Last year winner was GM Aleksej Aleksandrov.

System of Play: The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss System with 10 rounds.
Subjected to FIDE approval, Accelerated pairing will be employed for first two rounds of the event to increase norm chances of players.

Free Dormitory Lodging & Boarding will be provided to all participants subject to prior intimation. GMs 2600 and above will be provided single AC Room and rest GMs, WGMs, IMs and WIMs will be provided rooms on twin sharing basis.
