Tommy scored a perfect 6-0 to win the New York State K-1 Championship. So the Polgar Team won two Championships and one second place finish. Congrats to Elina, Dylan and Tommy! They scored a combine 15.5 / 17.

Something tells me he had some good coaching.
I remember many years ago hearing about this young girl in Hungry who was playing such good chess. I began cheering for her back then. OMG now I feel so young. I have found another young boy in USA to cheer for.
This is just going to be a great fun cheering time for me.

He lost one game out of the last 20 or so. But he did get lucky quite a few times. I am not really concern about his rating or winning. As long as he enjoys playing chess, that’s the most important thing to me.
