The traditional Niš Open 2013 will take place on 21st – 28th March at the “Dom gluvih” in Nis, Serbia.
The 9 round Swiss Open will be played with a time control of 90 minutes for the whole game plus 30 seconds increments from move 1.
The total prize fund will amount to 150 000 dinars (approx. 1 800 US dollars). The first three players will get 40 000, 20 000 and 15 000 dinars, respectively. There will also be special prizes for young players and veterans.
As of today, 33 players have signed up to participate; 23 of them are titled players.
