Probably more than 85 different ways. Maybe even more than 100.
Definitely more than 85. In the first move for both sides alone there are 400. The number then jumps to something like 71,000, then 9 million after 3, if I remember my Edward Lasker correctly. Not sure about 4.

there are several other interesting facts there, one of which says “The longest game of chess that is theoretically possible is 5,949 moves”.
Can someone please explain why would there be a restriction on the number of moves? Is it because of the rule that 50 consecutive moves without killing a pawn/ piece is a draw?
