Great game by both players. Shelman has every reason to be proud of this one and Nakamura has nothing to be ashamed of…Sulman played great..that final position will find its way no doubt in many books to come. Bravo to both!!
Shulman shocks Nakamura with the French Defense. Well, this game will certainly get alot of attention. We haven’t been seeing alot French Defenses these days. So this one may revive interest in the French. Interestingly…I’ve read a thread on the Rybka forum saying an analysis by Rybka suggests the best reply to 1. e4 is in fact…e6. I’m wondering about the time controls for this game.
what a nice tactical blow! susan you should have included this in one of the puzzles
Susan is the Dominatrix of the French!
nakamua seems to forget it ain’t bullet chess. crap doesn’t work at this level.

But you don’t get it, he’s faster than a speeding bullet, at least his mouth is. He just moved from Smallville… so he must be Super at something…
