Kiprian Berbatov won the chain M-Tel Masters Junior

(Sofia, 17 May, 2009) Kiprian Berbatov won the chain of chess tournaments for children M-Tel Masters Junior. He won 5 out of 5 games in the final tournament today. In the competition took part the best 6 chess players in Bulgaria aged up to 14 – Kiprian Berbatov, Anatoly Atanasov, Alexander Monev, Dario Dereshki, Cveta Galunova and Ivan Garnizov. The final tournament of the chain was played today in the glass pavilion in front of the National Theatre in Sofia, where the super tournament M-Tel Masters 2009 (FIDE 21st category event) is running.

M-Tel Masters Junior is a chain of chess tournaments for children aged up to 14, that started last year in Bulgaria. Its goal is to support the development of sport and discovering chess talents all over the country.
