Looks like f4+ forces the rest of the play, Bc6+ then the Rook mates. I think.

Hi,Ed. If the play goes 1. f4+ Ke4 2. Bc6+ then Black king goes to safety with Ke3. There is no mate after this.
But if White changes the move order….

My Second post for this puzzle,the second example of my 1st post has variation,one among that is as given below.
1.Rd6 Na3
2.b*Na3 Bc5
3.Bf6+ Kf5
4.Bd7+ Ne6
5.Bb2 B*Rd6
6.Rd5+ Be5
7.B*Be5 f6
8.Bb2++ Mate

A silent move to start. Like Ed, I started with with f4, but realized pretty quickly that the black king escapes. White needs to take e4 away immediately- this suggests not delaying Bc6:
1. Bc6
Threatens f4#, and black can delay with moves like Na3+, but can’t prevent the mate, and moves like Be3 and g5 won’t help since white retakes at f4 with the g-pawn to mate. Game over.

Yes 1. Bc6! is the correct way to start, setting up the threat of mate with the pawn’s check on f4. Black can only make desperation moves, but white needs a way to deal with the last ditch efforts to keep the pawn off of f4 (such as …g5 and …Nd5).
Trying to put it together as a meaningful variations:
1. Bc6! g5
2. f4+ gxf4
3. gxf4 mate
And the knight can only hold things back for one more move, unless I missed something.
1. Bc6! Na3+
2. bxa3 g5
3. f4+ gxf4
4. gxf4 mate
Closing out the c6-h1 diagonal on black finishes it off.
1. Bc6 Na3+
2. bxa3 Be3
3. f4+ Bxf4
4. gxf4#
After the quiet 1.Bc6 black can’t prevent 2.f4+ and mating.
Mate in two
Bc6 leads to two mate threat (F4 and Rd5)
1. Bc6 Nd5, Rd5 (mate)
2. Bc6 g5, Rd5 (mate)
3. Bc6 Nd4, F4 (mate)
Bc6 and then f4+ mate cannot be prevented
