Ms. Polgar: Will you be playing in the upcoming Olympiad this year?
As of right now, I will not play in the next three Olympiads. Some USCF politicians decided against having a real Olympiad Training Program as I started in 2003 that led to unprecedented success (4 medals: 2 Gold and 2 Silver).
They made political decisions behind the scene to destroy the best thing that happened to women’s chess in the US. This is the typical ugly side of politics that hinder the growth of chess in the US. Because of this, I will not be participating until things will change for the better.

WOW Congratulations to everyone.
I knew people were close it is good to hear they got those Norms.
I was specially worried about Chimi. some were saying she needed a draw in the last game. She deserved the norm for sure.
Personally I think the norms are better than the cash prize money. money is only money but a Norm you have to earn. not so easy.
