Bg6!
My first trial 1.Bd5+ ran into difficulties.
1.Bg6+ Rxg6
(1…. Kxg6 2.Qh5#)
2.Qe7#
Bg6+
Very nice mating tactics with all of white’s pieces supporting each other and surrounding the black king.
1.Bg6+ and the game is over.
a) If 1…Kxg6, 2.Qh5#
b) If 1…Rxg6, 2.Qe7#
Sorry can you please elaborate on the notation provided below the quiz!
Almost too bad there is such a quick mate there because it was quite a fun line to play Bd5+ cxd5, Qxd5+ and from there really terrorizing the king back and forwards 😉
Bg6 + and mate next move. mihyawa
Bg6+ then mate.
Bg6 and mate in 1
1. Bg6+
If 1….Kxg6
2. Qh5 mate
If 1…Rxg6
2. Qe7 mate
Bg6+
1. Bg6+ seems like a very good move.
We either get Kxg6 Qh5#, or Rxg6 Qe7#.

Do you mean this notation? r5q1/pp1b1kr1/2p2p2/2Q5/2PpB3/1P4NP/P4P2/4RK2 w – – 0 1
It is FEN (Forsyth-Edwards Notation). The Wikipedia article on it is here:
