lame
how about exciting multiblunder game Moro-Magnus, that still goes on?
4 draws…way to go
Wow – Magnus is still leading the tournament, and now we’re more than halfway though…
Some people didn’t think it was a good idea to include Magnus here, and would rather have had a higher-ranked player. I think Magnus has shown the merits of giving young up-and-coming stars a chance…
Magnus came so close to winning.
I am wondering what the conditions were for Topalov. He took a simple 14 move draw. Not exactly a fighting game to the end. Someone on ICC expressed the opinion he was not able to get signals from Danailov and therefore was afraid to proceed. I wonder what the conditions were for Topalov.
Without Danailov and Deep Fritz it seems Topalov is going back to his natural playing strength.
Mercy…
All these stupid comments..
Topalov was black with Anand and made draw in 25 (rather than 14) moves. Black with number 2 in the world..
Exactly ….. drawing against Anand with the Black pieces ….. “how horrible”!!!
I don’t even like Topalov at ALL, but wouldn’t make the idiotic statements about him that are seen on this blog.
The worst part is that the morons making these statements have probably never even played a “real” game of chess in a competitive atmosphere (i.e. OTB tournament play) in their entire lives.
The view is real pretty over in the cheap seats …. isn’t it??
MORONS!!!!!!!!!
I absolutely agree!!!! It’s really tough to be a real chess fan when 95% of the chess enthusiasts are obnoxious, uneducated, egotistical, illogical morons!!!!
Listening to them on this blog and many others is like listening to a bunch of 5-year olds fighting over a crayon. PATHETIC!!!!!!!!! GET A LIFE, LOSERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aside from those idiots, I applaud the efforts and comments from the real chess players out there. I absolutely agree that the Carlsen performance is interesting and good for the game of chess in general.
Hey “BJORN”,
Put some clothes on you perverted FREAK!!!
Seriously …. what kind of mental patients are drawn to the game of chess. It’s almost embarrassing to be associated with the game anymore.
