He has sealed a guaranteed 1st place at the Tal Memorial. An impressive tournament by Kramnik!
You can only be a world champ by defeating your opponent in a match. Not by winning a tournament.
Well I guess that means that Kramnik will have to beat the Champion Anand in a match to become the Champion.
I say Anand will be the winner. What do you think.
anonymous #2 well said. go kramnik!
ah ah ahhhhhhhhhh !!! Anand the Bollywood champion !!!
Kramnik will win by a +3 against Anand, that’s for sure …
he didn’t want to have to play against mister ” toilet gate ” next year, plus he already crashed him down …
like kramnik said, he wants to win against
1. kasparov
2. leko
3. topalov
4. anand
and then have a cognac and five packs of cigarettes
cheers
Their Match will end in draw.
Anand retains the crown thereof.
Ha!
That will be destiny fully deserved
by Kramnik solely becouse he used
to avoid rematch with Kasparov like
a chicken.
my 2 cents
A win in the last round and Kramnik reaches ELO 2800.
kramnik will 2800 4 months before the match … 2820 after … and the first one to rich 2900 … badaboum … youpla
Ivanchuk – Kramnik can be the fight of the last round.
Kramnik does not need much, but, Ivanchuk has been very quiet in this tournament. His 2787 may simply be an abuse of the Elo rating system – he piled his points playing mostly in mediocre tournaments against an average grandmaster clientele. So, a win against Kramnik would be a sweet candy for him.
On the other hand, Kramnik’s win brings him to 2800 – whether it matters for him or not (he had been there).
If you don’t like Kramnik, think he’s too fishy, you can count on our man, his name is Vishy!
Go Vishy!
Boo Kramnik
“Well I guess that means that Kramnik will have to beat the Champion Anand in a match to become the Champion.
I say Anand will be the winner. What do you think.”
I say Kramnik beat Kasparov in a match in which he did not loose a single game to become the world champion. And then defended his title against Leko and Topalov.
Whom did Anand beat to deserve the world champ title ?
Anand is sweet bollywood candy, and he knows that kramnik didn’t really play in Mexico.
everybody knows that …
Kramnik is from far the best player in the world. If you look at elo rating better play another game !
1. Kasparov 2. Leko 2. Topalov 4. Bollywood
Really fruitful conversation you are having here, gentlemen.
